I hope to post more Christmas stories and pictures, but I only have time for some hightlights. I love our newest tradition: Alan made Christmas morning waffles, the girls' first! (And Amelia LOVED them, in spite of the look on her face.) Then, Alan read the Christmas story from a story-book before we opened presents. After that we went on the second annual Christmas Day hike in the woods. Last year it was with Matt & Becky & Casey at a park in Virginia Beach, and this year it was just a couple miles from our house at Double Rock. The girls loved throwing rocks in the stream and stepping across it on the stones. Then, of course, the oldest tradition of being with family--we had a GREAT time at my parents' house with a focus on love and one another (and I think there will soon be a groove in the floor from the kids running in circles as Mom plays piano!)
