The Bisset/Blackman family managed to get away for three days to Ocean City, NJ over Spring Break.
It's not easy to coordinate vacations when your family has a church organist (no Sundays away), youth camp director (no summers away), teachers (rare school year getaways), and kids in two different school districts (which can have different days off.)
So this was something to celebrate! We all headed out there after church on Easter Sunday. And took a long walk on the boardwalk that night. Anna & Evelyn enjoyed their roles as eldest cousins.
We walked on the boardwalk the next day, too! Here's Aidan:
Thanks to my Grandma Lucille Evelyn and a whole summer spent with my arms up over my head practicing on myself, I'm a pretty good French-braider.
Pretty girls with pretty hair.
Amelia and Aidan started and finished our days together--together. And they were together in the middle, too. Amelia said, "Aidan and I are so much alike! We're almost identifiable twins!"
Lots of walks. Some arcade fun. Flying kites. Breakfast out. And lots of good memories.
