I have no witty captions that do that list justice. It stands perfectly on its own.
Speaking of Amelia, I wish I had pics of her recent outfits. Yesterday to church she wore a pink satin and lace dress (probably from the 80's) that we found at a thrift store. She paired it with a pink knitted shawl, a blue bonnet, and sparkly red shoes (a la Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.) She said she was trying "to dress like Meg from Little Women." Today she had Alan text me to remind me to raid the prop & costume closet at my school for "fancy white gloves," which I did. She was quite thrilled.
On Saturday she wore a multi-colored t-shirt with a pink floral skirt and brightly-colored, striped socks that were pulled up over her knees (rather Pippi Longstocking.)
When I was raiding the prop/costume closet at work, I found a cap that looked rather like the night caps Laura & Mary Ingalls wear in the "Little House" TV episodes. It had exactly the effect I'd hoped. :)
