We lunched causally at Joan & Steve's & awaited the arrival of Josh & Laura from NYC. Uncle Steve just had total hip replacement surgery, and we enjoyed strolling the street on his daily walk. Afterward, he was the only one who wasn't up for a riverside walk in the woods near their home (that lovely window is on the front of their home, BTW. Uncle Steve made the window box arrangement.)
Finally, the girls ended up in a pile with Josh & Laura. They'd have stayed there if we'd let them. However, we needed to head to the lovely Christmas Eve service at Mom and Dad's church. I wish I had pictures of that.
Christmas Eve was quite nice. :)
