Some of the best little rituals and traditions our family has have not been pre-meditated, and many of them have been inspired by Alan. (Maybe it's an improvisational jazz musician thing.)
Here is the latest inspiration--"Cheese Letters" (or "Letter Cheese?" I can't remember which they call it)--and it is, of course, a huge lunchtime hit.
