The Local Scene

Some nice, B-more style outings have been had this month: celebrating the b-day of visiting-from-New-Zealand friend, Kathy with a favorite group of friends at my favorite restaurant, the Chameleon (tried my first frogs' legs--they do not taste like chicken, but I could have eaten styrofoam fried in that batter!); "Tea with Mussolini" viewed in Little Italy w/Diana & Jen (Jen & I rode down on her scooter--my face hurt from smiling!); Boordy Winery with the Bisset cousins (good company, good food!); Baltimore's Artscape, where Alan played on stage three straight days (we called it "Alanscape") and the girls & I found a car decorated entirely w/dental paraphernalia (couldn't help but think of Courtney, as she is a dental hygienist) and where we also enjoy a walk on the wilder, quirkier, downright weird side of our city; and "Moonstruck" on a moonlit night at Basignani Winery w/mom as her b-day gift. (Seems outdoor movies & wineries have been a theme!)
