If I knew a Tony Bennett song, I'd have tried to quote it in the title of this post. These are from Alan's week at Bennett Studios outside NYC, where he and Frank and Max recorded mostly Alan's songs or arrangements and enjoyed their collective creativity. They split the cost three ways, hired sax player, Donny McCaslin, to play on some of the tunes, and it looks like a great use of the MD State Arts Council grant money Alan was awarded this year! Stay tuned for where to get your copies (or tracks, if they decide to sell them on line.) I admit I LOVE being married to a jazz musician!
