I love making the journey part of the destination.
Earlier this Spring we were heading back from somewhere (I can't even remember where) and we decided to stop at the National Harbor on a whim. I love that sort of thing.
They have a carousel that costs $5 to ride--all day. So Alan and I sat and talked while the girls rode and rode. And then they asked us to get on and ride, too.
So we did.
Here's to many more spontaneous moments of fun with these girls. How I love them.
