Amelia's answer to the question, "How do you like your new crutches?"
Slam dunk, Daddy. Alan totally turned this thing around, and Amelia is loving "pretending" to have a hurt ankle at home using her crutches and walking normally everywhere else.
The only down side? Sore armpits. :)

Hilarious. And I totally get it... pretending to be hurt because crutches seems cool definitely sounds like the kind of thing I would have done as a kid :)
In fact, I remember wanting diabetes for a while after a friend was diagnosed.

So now I am constantly reminding myself that this is just a phase and that you, at one time, wanted to be a diabetic. :) Today she wore one of Alan's carpal-tunnel braces all day. Granted, she DID have a scuff on her wrist.
