On face book a while back I joked that I only have two first cousins left on either side of my family who've not stayed overnight at our house. That post was inspired by an overnight stay by cousin Stacey and her husband, Brad, who made their last cross-country stop on their move from CA to NJ for his military job.
They had their dogs with them, which was a THRILL for the girls. All of us even walked Evelyn to school the next morning (in spite of drizzly weather), which prepped us well for the following weekend at Bucknell. (To be continued!)

I love when people come visit us and bring their dogs. It is an exciting time for all yet a reminder to the parents of why we don't want a dog. This is also what I imagine grandparenting must be like...
